Last week, the Lise Watier Foundation proudly celebrated the achievements of the women who successfully completed the Skills Development Program and the Entrepreneurship Program as part of the Let’s Start Up Pathway. These exceptional women, from five different regions — Montreal, Quebec City, Laurentians, Montérégie, and Toronto—received their diplomas from Concordia University during this significant ceremony.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Anne-Marie Croteau (Dean, John Molson School of Business, Concordia University) and Ms. Isabel Dunnigan (Associate Vice-Rector, Lifelong Learning and Executive Director, Concordia Continuing Education) for their inspiring presence. Their support and words added a special touch to these memorable events.
The ceremony, held at the iconic John Molson School of Business, was further enriched by the participation of Isabèle Chevalier, an entrepreneur-investor who has worked for 25 years in the fields of health, scientific research, and retail. She shared her inspiring journey with our graduates, covering themes such as courage, self-confidence, resilience, and the importance of seizing opportunities. Her speech resonated deeply, motivating the women by emphasizing the value of continuous learning, demonstrating resilience, and surrounding oneself with the right people to achieve financial success, all while staying true to one’s values.
Our warmest congratulations go to our exceptional graduates, who have overcome challenges and shown remarkable resilience throughout their journey. We are confident they will continue to inspire their communities and accomplish great things in the future.
Once again, a huge congratulations to all of you! Your success reflects your commitment, courage, and determination.
