50 women, 50 Life Projects
50 WOMEN, 50 LIFE PROJECTS CAMPAIGN
Support the professional development of women today
Since 2017, the Lise Watier Foundation has made a difference in the lives of more than 500 women, providing them with the support they need to move from a situation of economic vulnerability to a state of financial independence. Thus, these women have been empowered in their transformative professional project. As a result, they begin a fresh professional start through entrepreneurship, post-secondary education or the search of a meaningful job.
For its 2021 edition, – due to the pandemic – our Ball makes way to the:
“50 Women, 50 Life Projects” Campaign
More than ever, your help is essential to offer these determined women the support they deserve to go further. Did you know that:
- In Quebec, 34% of working women earn less than $20,000 a year.
- Women were hit harder professionally by the pandemic. In 2020, 2 lost jobs out of 3 were held by women.
- Women are slow to return to work, which could jeopardize progress in terms of equality.
You can make a difference by supporting the “50 Women, 50 Life Projects” Campaign.
Our Goal: Raise $250,000 to help 50 Women
Helping 1 woman in our Let’s Start Up Program costs on average $5,000.
It’s a small price to pay, after all, considering we provide concrete means to develop skills through training, individual coaching and financial support… A springboard to develop the full professional potential of each woman and have a sustainable impact on her and her family’s future.
