Vicky Boudreau

When I was a teenager, my father, having sensed my interest in the business world and in beauty, told me that if I worked hard I would become the next Lise Watier of Quebec. So I followed with interest the journey of this woman who played an important role in the emancipation of women in business
Coming from a modest background, she created her Foundation with her daughter Marie-Lise after the sale of her business. They realized that by helping women in vulnerable situations, the children would benefit in the long run, thus breaking a cycle of poverty.

For the past 5 years bicom has supported the Foundation and this year I am taking up the personal challenge of raising $5,000 to support a woman in her journey through the Let’s Start Up program. I am firmly convinced that with help and support, women will be able to realize a transformative professional project.

Write an encouraging message

The participants of the Let’s Start Up program of the Lise Watier Foundation have experienced situations of vulnerability. They are now working hard to find their way back to financial independence. Help them believe in themselves and spread their wings by writing them an encouraging message!

$5 will be donated by our partner EPIDERMA for each message written.

Thank you for believing in them.

Having access to training, personalized support, an expanded professional network and financial aid can transform a woman’s life. The Foundation and its campaign ambassadors are convinced of this, and we are therefore inviting you to join support for the Believe in her campaign. Thank you for your precious support!

MARIE-ÈVE

Graduate of the Let’s Start Up Program

The Lise Watier Foundation offers the Let’s Start Up program in Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, the Laurentians and Montérégie. More than 200 women a year are committed to taking action through the Let’s Start Up program. They graduate with a better understanding of their strengths and skills, as well as the knowledge and tools to implement their professional project. Women thus begin a new journey towards financial independence through entrepreneurship, a return to school or a more fulfilling job.
