Trang: From language to science, a path of resilience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Arriving in Quebec from Vietnam to join her partner, Trang initially worked as a translator of books from English to Vietnamese. To support her integration, she took French language courses and later earned a master\u2019s degree in gerontology, which opened the door to a research career. Driven by a passion for science communication, she shifted her focus to making science communication more accessible and created a unique entrepreneurial project.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her journey has included personal challenges, including fear of judgment and impostor syndrome. Through the Lise Watier Foundation\u2019s Let\u2019s Start Up Pathway, she gained the tools to structure her project, target her market, and build confidence in her abilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Making science accessible to all<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Today, Trang aims to develop a business specializing in visual science communication. Her goal is to help researchers particularly in health sciences transform complex data into clear, visual, and accessible stories for the public, decision-makers, and communities. Her project stands out for its dual foundation: scientific rigor and graphic creativity. By combining scientific writing with design, Trang seeks to democratize knowledge, promote better understanding of health issues, and contribute to a more informed society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When WSP opens the door to scientific impact<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Grant will allow Trang to pursue a Diploma in Graphic Design at Concordia University, a key program to strengthen her expertise in visual communication and enhance the effectiveness of her projects. This training could increase her income by 50% and give her the opportunity to take on more ambitious assignments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, WSP\u2019s support will serve as a powerful lever: strategic mentorship, guidance on positioning, and access to an extensive professional network. This synergy between Trang\u2019s skills and the backing of a leader like WSP exemplifies the strength of the IMPACT Initiative: a win-win partnership that transforms individual journeys while advancing collective innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
