The first cohort of the Route des possibles 2023 reaches land!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After another 100% women’s expedition led by EcoMaris in collaboration with the Lise Watier Foundation, the Let’s Start Up participants in this first Route des possibles of the year return from a stay of just over a week, which took place from May 28 to June 6, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After departing from Rimouski, the group had the chance to cross the river twice between the C\u00f4te-Nord and Bas-Saint-Laurent regions. The participants spent a few nights in Le Bic, and their stay was enhanced by a swimming break in the river, in the middle of May! The water temperature was close to 14\u2103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coached on a volunteer basis by Ad\u00e9tola Fagb\u00e9mi (Executive Director of Digitalement Elles), Dominique LeBlanc (Senior Associate Consultant at Vega Groupe conseil), Marie Pier Garneau (Consultant at Convergence) and Adeline Chapron (Professional Development Coach at the Lise Watier Foundation), the participants were brought into action to better develop not only their professional skills – but also the social skills that guarantee success.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Once they’ve weighed anchor, hoisted sail and kept a steady course, they’re better equipped than ever to face the challenges of entrepreneurship. They can also count on the solid bonds built up along the way.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With La Route des possibles, EcoMaris leads free women’s expeditions that marry the social, professional and environmental spheres, with an emphasis on entrepreneurial possibilities. The aim is to pool knowledge by using sailing to consolidate the relationships and skills they have developed during their Let’s Start Up journey. Our participants can be proud of the fact that, together, they have risen to the challenges of group life in the heart of the St. Lawrence. They have forged their own path with creativity, boldness and independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it’s often in adversity (\u2026) that we get to know ourselves. This encounter can leave us surprised, angry or even disappointed, but never unchanged. The Road of Possibilities is a compendium of life: just when you think it’s over, it’s still there! And when there are, there’s a whole group ready to support you (\u2026). This adventure on the waves of the river is a magnificent allegory of the entrepreneurial life that awaits the participants: when it’s hard to stay on course in the storm, we must never forget that others are there to help us, like EcoMaris and the Lise Watier Foundation. Thank you for keeping these life-changing dreams afloat!” says mentor Marie Pier Garneau.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Now that the preparation workshops and expedition are behind them, participants will continue to benefit from the mentoring offered by the program and its partners, through collaborative activities, conferences and other events designed to perpetuate their network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
