Reinventing yourself after professional burnout

Convinced that women’s financial independence is a key driver for building a more equitable and prosperous society, the team partners with the IMPACT Initiative to offer far more than financial support. Yanith Garcia: Bouncing back to move forward

Originally from Mexico, Yanith immigrated alone to Quebec and worked for many years in information technology. In 2019, professional burnout disrupted her career path and led her to seek new meaning in her work. With courage, she reinvented herself by offering digital marketing services to entrepreneurs—while navigating financial challenges and balancing work and family life. After a period of reflection and a detour into teaching, Yanith found her path again through the Lise Watier Foundation’s Let’s Start Up Pathway. Within the Foundation’s supportive framework, she was able to structure her initiatives, identify her blind spots, and—above all—receive valuable emotional support. Today, her goal is clear: to build a career that reflects her values and secure a solid financial future for her children.

Specializing to better support businesses

Drawing on her experience in IT project coordination and business analysis, Yanith now aims to focus her expertise on strategic consulting for SMEs, particularly in the travel sector. Thanks to the IMPACT Grant awarded by National Bank Financial_Team Guy Côté, she is pursuing a university certification in business analysis and strategic consulting at Laval University. This program will allow her to strengthen her skills, effectively document strategies, and integrate AI-related tools. Her ambition: to become a reference in business analysis for small and medium-sized enterprises, helping them make better decisions and grow sustainably.

A duo combining expertise and vision

Through the IMPACT Grant and the support of National Bank Financial_Team Guy Côté, Yanith benefits from a dual advantage: access to cutting-edge training to update her skills, and the human and strategic support of a committed partner ready to share experience and network. Together, they form a complementary duo, where Yanith’s expertise and the National Bank Financial Team’s support mutually reinforce each other. The impact is tangible: greater confidence, an expanded network, and concrete means to turn ambition into a successful project.

The IMPACT effect: A launchpad toward a promising professional future

The IMPACT Initiative is about stories of resilience, ambition, and renewal.
