Nancy Pelletier: A quiet force
Originally from Sherbrooke and mother of three, Nancy dedicated much of her energy to her family, even homeschooling her children. At the same time, she pursued a career as a self-employed professional, balancing family and work responsibilities. In 2023, she chose to reinvent herself by entering the field of building inspection, a concrete and stimulating domain. Driven by this passion, she completed a professional development certificate (AEC) in inspection and began training in building mechanics. The Let’s Start Up Pathway helped her structure her project, plan her time, and move forward with confidence.
A business project built to measure
Through the Let’s Start Up Pathway, Nancy began taking the steps to establish her own inspection business. Her goal? To create a professional, high-quality, and human-centered service that meets homeowners’ needs while reflecting her values of integrity and rigor.
The impact of a future-oriented partnership
With the Impact Grant and mentorship provided by Sanimax, Nancy has the tools she needs to transform her project into a thriving business. The grant will fund her thermography certification, a key asset in building inspection. With this specialization, she will be able to provide more precise and comprehensive evaluations, stand out in the market, and expand her range of services.
In parallel, mentorship will help her structure her financial plan, strengthen her management skills, and make informed decisions at critical stages of launching her business.
For its part, Sanimax affirms its role as a catalyst for change by supporting an entrepreneur determined to build a sustainable venture. Together, they embody the very essence of the IMPACT Initiative: a win-win partnership where trust and guidance pave the way toward financial independence and success.
