Believe in Her Campaign: Over $195,000 raised to support women’s financial independence in quebec

The 4th edition of the Believe in Her campaign, led by the Lise Watier Foundation, concluded with an incredible outpouring of solidarity and generosity. Thanks to the mobilization of our community, over $195,000 was raised to support women’s professional growth and financial independence.

These funds will enable 39 women to participate in the Let’s Start Up Pathway, the Foundation’s flagship program offering a free, innovative approach to building financial independence. This journey empowers women across Quebec to reach their full professional potential and envision their future with confidence and determination. The program is truly transformative and plays a concrete role in building a fairer, more equitable future.

This success was made possible by our inspiring cohort of ambassadors — a group of influential women and men from the business community, as well as former participants of the program who have since become successful entrepreneurs. Throughout the month of March, these engaged individuals lent their voices, shared their stories, and mobilized their networks to raise awareness and encourage donations in support of the cause.

We also wish to highlight the exceptional contribution of la Vie en Rose, which launched an inspiring internal campaign for the second consecutive year. Their commitment led to a generous $30,000 donation, adding to our collective efforts and directly contributing to the tangible impact of this campaign.

Thank you to all who believed in them. Together, we are paving the way for a world where every woman can believe in her potential, fully realize herself, and take ownership of her success.

The Lise Watier Foundation offers the Let’s Start Up Pathway in Montreal, Quebec City, the Laurentians, Montérégie, Sherbrooke, Drummondville and Toronto. More than 350 women a year are committed to taking action through the Let’s Start Up Pathway. They graduate with a better understanding of their strengths and skills, as well as the knowledge and tools to implement their professional project. Women thus begin a new journey towards financial independence through entrepreneurship, a return to school or a more fulfilling job.
