On September 21st, the first edition of the Dentelle et Veston Noirs event organized by the National Bank of Canada to celebrate women took place on the Montreal bateau-mouche. More than $6,500 was donated to the Lise Watier Foundation from the proceeds of the silent auction!
Helping women achieve financial independence has always been at the center of the values of the National Bank of Canada, which has been a precious ally for the Foundation for many years. A huge thank you for this generous contribution and this inspiring initiative!

The Lise Watier Foundation offers the Let’s Start Up Pathway in Montreal, Quebec City, the Laurentians, Montérégie, Sherbrooke and Toronto. More than 300 women a year are committed to taking action through the Let’s Start Up Pathway. They graduate with a better understanding of their strengths and skills, as well as the knowledge and tools to implement their professional project. Women thus begin a new journey towards financial independence through entrepreneurship, a return to school or a more fulfilling job.
