Epiderma raises $15,620 for the Lise Watier Foundation’s Let’s Start Up program
Quebec City, May 17, 2023 – As part of its ongoing commitment to the community, Epiderma has partnered with the Lise Watier Foundation for a fourth year to support the Let’s Start Up Program. This year, Epiderma raised $15,620. By allowing them to reveal and develop their professional potential, this program helps women in socially, economically or professionally vulnerable situations to achieve financial independence and fulfill their potential.
During the month of April, for every laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, cellulite treatment or body contouring package sold in one of the 30 Epiderma medical-aesthetic clinics in Quebec and in virtual clinic, $20 was donated to the Lise Watier Foundation.
“The values promoted by Epiderma are at the heart of such an initiative and we are proud to be associated with the Lise Watier Foundation. Seeing these female cohorts make their way and reclaim their destiny sends a strong message, and it is essential for us to give back to our community,” explained Marie-Pier Frenette, Vice President Marketing of the Medicart / Epiderma Network.
Currently offered in five points of service (Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, the Laurentians and Montérégie), the Let’s Start Up Program offers an inclusive and free formula. Intended for women who want to invest in a professional project, it provides them with concrete means to develop their skills, through training, individualized coaching or financial support. The women thus make a fresh start through an entrepreneurial project, a return to school or the search for a more fulfilling job.
“We are grateful for Epiderma’s contribution to our Let’s Start Up Program, which supports more than 200 women a year in their professional project towards financial independence,” explains Marie-Lise Andrade, President and Executive director of the Lise Watier Foundation. It is thanks to partners like Epiderma that since 2017, we have supported more than 750 women through their entrepreneurial, post-secondary education or employment projects.”
