Fourth edition of Let’s Get TogetHer: inspiring gatherings across our six regions

The fourth edition of Let’s Get TogetHer was successfully held in our six service regions: Montreal, Quebec City, Montérégie, Laurentians, Sherbrooke, and Toronto. These annual gatherings provide a valuable opportunity for current participants and alumnae of the Let’s Start Up Pathway to come together, build connections, and network.

This year, a total of 157 women took part in these enriching events, filled with meaningful conversations and learning.

At the Lise Watier Foundation, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of taking control of personal finances and making informed financial decisions. That’s why, in each region, participants attended the conference “The Power of Personal Finances,” led by Véronique Berthiaume. The session covered essential topics such as:

  • Why women may be reluctant to talk about money
  • The psychology of money
  • The three key steps to managing finances
  • The difference between saving and investing
  • Discovering financial archetypes

This conference aimed to help women overcome limiting beliefs, strengthen their self-confidence, and take control of their financial future by encouraging open conversations about money.

Each region also hosted an inspiring panel featuring dedicated professionals from the entrepreneurial and financial sectors:

  • Montérégie (27 participants): Code F, JCCFQ, and Evelyne Ernst-Simard, Financial Security Advisor

Over the years, Let’s Get TogetHer has become a powerful engine for support and sisterhood, creating space for experience sharing and fostering strong networks among the women supported by the Lise Watier Foundation.

More than 350 women a year are committed to taking action through the Let’s Start Up Pathway. They graduate with a better understanding of their strengths and skills, as well as the knowledge and tools to implement their professional project. Women thus begin a new journey towards financial independence through entrepreneurship, a return to school or a more fulfilling job.
