Katerine Rocheleau and Guy Côté: 15 years of generosity and a lasting philanthropic legacy

On this National Philanthropy Day, we pay tribute to two exceptional individuals whose unwavering commitment has profoundly shaped the history of the Lise Watier Foundation: Katerine Rocheleau and Guy Côté

For 15 years, their loyalty, leadership, and generosity have helped transform countless lives and strengthen the Foundation’s mission to empower women toward financial independence.

A duo at the heart of change

Katerine and Guy form an inspiring duo—combining heartfelt generosity with strategic vision. Together, they have united partners and friends around a common cause: empowering women to reach lasting financial independence.

Since 2010, their constant involvement has helped make the Foundation’s benefit events a must-attend highlight of the philanthropic calendar, where generosity meets community spirit.

Their ability to bring people together has had a tangible and lasting impact. Since the launch of the Let’s Start Up Pathway in 2017, more than 1,500 women have been guided toward financial independence. Through their leadership and network, they have amplified the reach and sustainability of the Foundation’s work.

Beyond financial contributions, they have nurtured a true culture of solidarity within the Lise Watier Foundation family.

Builders of Hope and Transformation

Present since the very first Foundation Annual Ball, Katerine and Guy have been instrumental in making this event a highlight of the local philanthropic calendar. Over the years, they have infused the Foundation with a lasting philanthropic momentum by launching the “Cocktail for a Better Tomorrow” in Montreal. Building on this success, they later brought the initiative to Toronto, expanding their influence and mobilizing a new community of donors around the cause. Through every gesture, they remind us that philanthropy is not only about giving—it’s about heart, vision, and perseverance.

A Lasting Tribute: The Rocheleau-Côté Family Award

To celebrate 15 years of extraordinary commitment, the Lise Watier Foundation is proud to announce the creation of the Rocheleau-Côté Family Award—an annual distinction presented on National Philanthropy Day.

This award will recognize an ambassador who embodies the Foundation’s core values of generosity, compassion, and constancy.

Each year, it will be personally presented by Katerine Rocheleau and Guy Côté, symbolizing the continuity of their engagement and their desire to pass on this legacy of giving and solidarity.

Like you, this award stands as a lasting testament to generosity and gratitude—a reminder that every act of kindness has the power to change lives.” – Marie-Lise Andrade, President and cofounder of the Lise Watier Foundation

A Heartfelt Thank You

Dearest Katerine and Guy, the Lise Watier Foundation warmly extends its heartfelt gratitude.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment, your kindness, your leadership, and your extraordinary generosity that continue to inspire an entire community to believe in a brighter future.

Because of you, our mission keeps growing—transforming lives, one woman at a time.
