On September 24th, as part of our Continuing Education Program, six participants from the Let’s Start Up Journey had the opportunity to experience an exceptional day of equicoaching at Camp L. Led by Lyne Desrochers, founder of Camp L and a Let’s Start Up graduate, this immersive experience with horses was filled with emotional and educational moments.
A unique approach to strengthening women’s leadership
This equicoaching day allowed participants to understand the impact of their leadership, build confidence through interactions with horses, and demystify emotions to use them as a driving force for success.
Horses, with their intuitive and authentic nature, acted as mirrors, enabling participants to become aware of their reactions and behaviors, while encouraging them to act with intention. Camp L’s approach is based on five key words: self-awareness, intention, action, communication, and intensity, which guided the participants throughout this enriching day.
One of the participants, Kim, shared her experience:
My equicoaching day, shared with 6 other women, was a unique experience. Together, we created a special bond with the horses, who perceive our emotions in an incredible way. Thanks to them, I was able to better understand what I was feeling while sharing this adventure with an inspiring group. It was a day rich in discoveries, where every interaction reminded me of the importance of being present, listening, and building genuine connections.”
A perfect complement to the Let’s Start Up Pathway
Camp L is the perfect complement to the Let’s Start Up Pathway offered by the Lise Watier Foundation. This type of immersive activity allows participants to put into practice the entrepreneurial skills they develop throughout their journey with the Foundation. They leave with enhanced confidence, ready to embark on their projects with a fresh perspective and affirmed leadership.
