On April 10, the Lise Watier Foundation had the privilege of bringing together nearly 800 guests at New City Gas for an evening filled with generosity and solidarity, marking the fourth edition of its annual cocktail dedicated to the next generation of philanthropists. Thanks to the outstanding commitment of our partners and guests, a record amount of $ 264,592 was raised to support women on their journey toward financial independence.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presence and inspiring testimonies of women who have benefited from the Let’s Start Up Pathway. They shared the tangible impact of the Foundation’s support, powerfully and authentically illustrating how this program has transformed their professional futures.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Cocktail was also an opportunity to award two impact scholarships to participants of the Let’s Start Up Pathway, in recognition of their resilience, commitment, and achievements:
- The Education Scholarship, offered by the Rocheleau-Côté Family, was awarded to Fabiola José-Simon, who is pursuing her studies in social work at Cégep Marie-Victorin.
- The Entrepreneurship Scholarship, funded by BCF, was presented to Elena Pavlova, founder of Abeilles de la Colline, in recognition of her boldness, innovation, and determination.
