The Let’s Start Up Pathway by the Lise Watier Foundation is offered in the Eastern Townships in collaboration with CIME

Sherbrooke, January 14, 2025 –The Center for Integration into the Job Market (CIME) is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Lise Watier Foundation. The next cohort of the Let’s Start Up Pathway will begin in Sherbrooke on February 4, 2025. This professional development program is aimed at women seeking a fresh start and who are ready to take action on a professional project to achieve lasting financial independence.

The Let’s Start Up Pathway, a Career Accelerator

Offered in the Eastern Townships since September 2024, the Let’s Start Up Pathway allows women to develop a personalized professional project, whether it’s the realization of an entrepreneurial project, the pursuit of postsecondary studies, or a career transition to a more rewarding job. Certified by Concordia University, Let’s Start Up provides group training, personalized support, financial assistance, and integration into a dynamic community of women. Upon completing the Let’s Start Up Pathway, women gain a better understanding of their strengths to develop a professional project aligned with their strengths and goals. They possess the knowledge and skills necessary to implement their professional project. Additionally, they expand their professional network by meeting other women in the program and industry experts to propel their careers. So far, hundreds of women have completed the Let’s Start Up Pathway across Quebec and in Toronto, and they all report a positive impact on their lives.

This new partnership allows us to offer a continuum of services to women in the Eastern Townships, complementing the existing services already available in the region. For a first year, the participation of women has already been exceptional.” — Geneviève Collette, Executive Director of the Centre for Integration into the Job Market (CIME)

“We are proud to offer the Let’s Start Up Pathway in Sherbrooke in collaboration with CIME, whose mission aligns with ours. This partnership marks an important step in our mission to support even more women in their pursuit of professional fulfillment and financial independence.” — Marie-Lise Andrade, President and Executive Director of the Lise Watier Foundation
