Start the Let’s Start Up Pathway with the
Skills Development Program
Our Skills Development Program is specifically designed to help you unlock, enhance, and develop essential transferable soft skills needed to achieve your professional or entrepreneurial goals.
Certified by Concordia University, this program combines group workshops and individual coaching sessions to help you identify and leverage your professional skills and attitudes. Through these workshops, you will explore new career opportunities while building confidence in your abilities.
Program Objectives
By the end of this program, you will be able to:
- Identify, recognize, and apply your transferable skills to a new professional or entrepreneurial project
- Define realistic goals aligned with your aspirations
- Clarify your professional needs and values
- Identify potential obstacles and develop solutions to overcome them
- Create a strategic action plan for success
Duration and Commitment
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Schedule: Daytime (in person)
- Support Format: 8 group workshops + individual meetings
- Commitment:
- 3 hours of workshops per week
- 3 hours of preparation per week

- You are a woman aged 18 or older
- You are in a stable life situation that allows you to fully commit to your journey
- You are ready to take charge of your life

Who is the program for?
The Let’s Start Up Program is for you if:
- you are a woman over the age of 18
- You want to become financially independent, but you need a helping hand to launch a professional project to get there
- AND you are ready to take action
How much time should I spend on my project per week?
The program requires an involvement of 3 hours per week in class and approximately 3 to 10 hours per week to complete assignments, homework, and individual meetings.
Am I eligible even if I am working or on last resort assistance or unemployment insurance?
Yes, the program is free even if you are working or receiving last resort assistance or unemployment insurance.
I am not in a vulnerable situation; can I join the program?
The program is offered to all women who wish to undertake professional activities in order to achieve financial independence. If you are unsure of your eligibility, contact the service point nearest you and a program counsellor will verify if you are eligible.
