THE BCF LET’S START UP ENTREPRENEURSHIP GRANT

A $5,000 grant designed to support participants and graduates of the Let’s Start Up Program who have started their own business

Are you a graduate of the Let’s Start Up program or in the process of completing the program? The BCF Let’s Start Up Entrepreneurship Grant is for you!

It’s a $5,000 grant awarded to a participant or graduate of the Let’s Start Up program of the Entrepreneurship Path who stands out for her willingness to commit fully to her entrepreneurial project, allowing her to achieve financial independence.

Application period: January 30 to March 10, 2023, at 4 p.m.

An information session in English will be held on Thursday February 9, 2023 from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm to answer your questions related to the BCF Let’s Start Up Entrepreneurship Grant.

THE CONCORDIA SPREADING YOUR WINGS GRANT

A $5,000 grant designed to support participants and graduates of the Let’s Start Up Program who have started their own business

Are you a graduate of the Let’s Start Up program or in the process of completing the program? The Concordia Spreading your wings grant is for you!

The Let’s Start Up Community

Let’s Start Up graduates are part of this community of dynamic and committed women. They have access to specific training offered by business and entrepreneurship experts and have the opportunity to participate in networking activities and stimulating meetings.

ECOMARIS

The road of possibilities : a transformative sailing trip!

A sailboat, an all-female crew, experienced mentors and a completely unforgettable adventure… All this for free!

The Foundation, in partnership with EcoMaris, offers Let’s Start Up participants the chance to sail for a week on the St. Lawrence Estuary. In the company of inspiring women with various areas of expertise, this experience will allow them to improve their self-confidence through an activity that will take them out of their comfort zone, to develop their skills in order to pursue their professional project and to build a professional support network.

THE BCF LET’S START UP ENTREPRENEURSHIP GRANT

The Lise Watier Foundation is pleased to count on the support of BCF which has financed the first Let’s Start Up Entrepreneurship Grant. Presented during the Let’s Start Up Cocktail on June 14, 2022, this $5,000 grant was awarded to Sarah Faucher, co-founder of the company Les Sans Gaspi, to help her give wings to her business.   

The application period for the next edition of the Let’s Start Up Grant will open in May 2023. Stay tuned!

The Lise Watier Foundation offers the Let’s Start Up program in Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, the Laurentians and Montérégie. More than 200 women a year are committed to taking action through the Let’s Start Up program. They graduate with a better understanding of their strengths and skills, as well as the knowledge and tools to implement their professional project. Women thus begin a new journey towards financial independence through entrepreneurship, a return to school or a more fulfilling job.
