THE CONCORDIA SPREADING YOUR WINGS GRANT

A $5,000 grant designed to support participants and graduates of the Let’s Start Up Program who have started their own business

It’s a $5,000 grant awarded to a participant or graduate of the Let’s Start Up program of the Entrepreneurship Path who stands out for her willingness to commit fully to her entrepreneurial project, allowing her to achieve financial independence.

Application period: from May 1st to July 15th, 2024

Two information sessions will be held to answer your questions about the BCF grant:

  • Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm (English)
  • Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 12:15pm – 12:45pm (French)

THE BCF GRANT

A $5,000 grant designed to support participants and graduates of the Let’s Start Up Program who have started their own business

Are you a graduate of the Let’s Start Up Program or in the process of completing the program? The BCF grant is for you!

Application period: from December 4, 2023 to February 25, 2024

Two information sessions will be held to answer your questions about the BCF grant:

  • Tuesday, December 19, 2023, 12:15 pm – 12:45 pm (French)
  • Tuesday, December 19, 1:30 pm to 1:45 pm (English)

The Let’s Start Up Community

Let’s Start Up graduates are part of this community of dynamic and committed women. They have access to specific training offered by business and entrepreneurship experts and have the opportunity to participate in networking activities and stimulating meetings.

THE BCF LET’S START UP ENTREPRENEURSHIP GRANT

For a third year in a row, BCF has awarded a $5,000 grant to recognize the entrepreneurial journey of a Let’s Start Up graduate. This year, Stéphanie Cliche, the founder of La Conciergerie : Traçage de lignes marquage – peinture, will benefit from this financial aid to propel her business forward.

The application period for the next edition of the Let’s Start Up Grant will open in December 2024. Stay tuned!

THE CONCORDIA GRANT

In 2023, Concordia awarded this $5,000 grant to Geneviève Hébert, owner of Fraises Louis Hébert and a graduate of the Lise Watier Foundation’s entrepreneurship program. This financial assistance will help her propel her business forward.

The application period for the next edition of the Let’s Start Up Grant will open in May 2025. Stay tuned!

Graduate of the Let’s Start Up Program

The Lise Watier Foundation offers the Let’s Start Up Journey in Montreal, Quebec City, the Laurentians, Montérégie, Sherbrooke and Toronto. More than 300 women a year are committed to taking action through the Let’s Start Up Journey. They graduate with a better understanding of their strengths and skills, as well as the knowledge and tools to implement their professional project. Women thus begin a new journey towards financial independence through entrepreneurship, a return to school or a more fulfilling job.
