On April 4th, the prestigious Théâtre St-James was the setting for the third edition of the Cocktail 2024 by the Lise Watier Foundation. In the prestigious Théâtre St-James, 625 guests gathered in an atmosphere of celebration and solidarity. Thanks to their immense generosity, we raised a record net result of $300,250 to support local women in their quest for financial independence.
The evening was highlighted by the inspiring address from our honorary president, Mrs. Claudine Blondin Bronfman, Co-chair, Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Family Foundation and Chair of the board at C2 Montreal. Her presence and message deeply resonated with the attendees, adding an inspirational touch to the celebration.
For the third consecutive year, the Cocktail served as the occasion to award two significant scholarships to participants of the s’Entreprendre program, thereby acknowledging their resilience, commitment, and achievements. The Education Grant, generously funded by the Rocheleau-Côté Family, was granted to Rosie Contant for her studies in psychosocial intervention at UQAM. In the field of entrepreneurship, Stéphanie Cliche, the founder of La Conciergerie, was honored with a grant funded by BCF, highlighting her boldness and entrepreneurial spirit.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Madame Claudine Blondin Bronfman for her role as the honorary president of the event, and we warmly thank all our partners and collaborators for their invaluable support. A special thank you goes to the ambassador committee and all the guests whose presence contributed to the exceptional success of the evening.
All proceeds from The Cocktail 2024 will go to the Let’s Start Up Program, reflecting the Lise Watier Foundation’s commitment to promoting the financial independence of local women. Together, we are moving towards a future where every woman has the strength, the means and the confidence to realize her professional ambitions.
Thank you for your continuous support and for participating in this wonderful evening. We look forward to seeing you next year to continue making a difference!
