Epiderma raises $21,820 for the Lise Watier Foundation’s Let’s Start Up Program

For a third year, Epiderma partnered with the Lise Watier Foundation during Let’s Start Up month. This year, Epiderma raised $21,820. What a remarkable achievement!

In April, a special operation was set up in the 30 Epiderma medical-aesthetic clinics in Quebec and in a virtual clinic. For each laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, peeling, cellulite treatment or body contouring package sold, $20 was donated to the Lise Watier Foundation.

Currently offered in five points of service (Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, the Laurentians region and Montérégie), the Let’s Start Up program is an inclusive and free formula. Intended for women who want to invest in a professional project, it provides them with concrete means to develop their skills, through training, individualized support or financial support. Women thus begin a new start through an entrepreneurship project, a return to school or the search for a more rewarding job.

“The work carried out in collaboration with the Lise Watier Foundation is a commitment that is close to our hearts. The situation in which many women find themselves after two years of the pandemic threatens gender equity in the labor market. Indeed, in 2020, 2 out of 3 jobs lost were held by women.[1] Thanks to the Let’s Start Up program, women have the opportunity to gain confidence in their skills and to fully invest in their professional project,” explained Julie Bédard, President and Chief Operating Officer, Medicart Corporation.

Thank you Epiderma for supporting with conviction the Lise Watier Foundation!
