2019 Graduation Ceremony

On September 4th, the 2018-2019 Let’s Start Up graduation ceremony was held at Concordia University. This year, 148 women completed the program, including 131 in entrepreneurship.

The event was infused with emotions and pride, and was also the occasion for National Bank to officially confirm its commitment to the Foundation, becoming the main partner of the Let’s Start Up program. The bank’s significant contribution of $500,000 will allow even more women living in vulnerable social and economic situations to invest themselves in a project that leads to financial independence and professional development.

At National Bank, we strongly support initiatives that promote the advancement of women. We believe that everyone in our society must be given the opportunity to grow to their full potential and actively take charge of their development.

– Nancy Paquet, Senior Vice-President, Strategy, Investment and Savings, Retail Banking at National Bank of Canada

The Lise Watier Foundation is proud of this partnership that highlights National Bank’s commitment and desire to help these women and their children by providing them with the means to achieve a better future.
