In September 2021, the Let’s Start Up professional development program expands into Toronto
The Lise Watier Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with YWCA Toronto to empower women through their Let’s Start Up Program. After over 10 years of sparking positive change for hundreds of women in Québec, the Foundation is now bringing their transformative mission to Toronto in September 2021.
“Our innovative program supports women’s professional development to help them regain confidence in their capacities and reach financial independence,” said Marie-Lise Andrade, President and Executive Director of The Lise Watier Foundation. ” We strongly believe that teaming up with YWCA Toronto will make a significant difference in empowering women in the community.”
A perfectly paired partnership
In their first four years in Québec, Let’s Start Up has financially empowered more than 500 women through their 18-week program, which includes training, individual coaching, and financial assistance. The program provides participants with relevant solutions to overcome daily challenges, all while offering a long-term support system that lasts a lifetime.
The Lise Watier Foundation and the YWCA Toronto share in their overarching mission to improve women’s lives by helping them build skills, develop confidence, and gain financial independence. “The YWCA Toronto is thrilled to partner with the Lise Watier Foundation to launch the Let’s Start Up program this fall. This program will help our association provide training and individual coaching to aspiring entrepreneurs interested in establishing their own businesses. We are grateful for this partnership and excited to support our participants on their journey toward sustainable financial independence,” shared Heather M. McGregor, Chief Executive Officer of YWCA Toronto.
