The Lise Watier Foundation joins forces with Dress for Success® Montréal!

The Lise Watier Foundation is delighted to announce its partnership with Dress for Success Montréal, a collaboration based on a shared mission. With common goals and complementary services, these two organizations have joined forces to extend the scope of their respective actions, guiding local women towards sustainable financial independence. This alliance will enable the beneficiaries of both organizations to benefit simultaneously from the services offered, thus providing comprehensive support for women.

The Lise Watier Foundation is delighted to announce a meaningful collaboration with Dress for Success Montréal, which aims to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

As part of this strategic partnership, women supported by the Lise Watier Foundation will receive styling services, free of charge, by Dress for Success Montréal volunteer stylists, enabling them to obtain professionally adapted professional attire. These outfits will be an invaluable asset for presenting themselves with confidence at job interviews, business meetings or any other professional occasion.

To date, 52 women have benefited from this transformative experience. Claudine, a graduate of the Let’s Start Up Program says: ” My experience at Dress for Success Montréal was truly formative. The carefully chosen clothes and sound advice from the volunteer advisors not only boosted my confidence, but also helped me add a touch of professionalism to my wardrobe.  This experience is a perfect complement to the skills I acquired through the Lise Watier Foundation’s Let’s Start Up Program. I feel ready to take on the professional world!”

In return, the women supported by Dress for Success Montréal will have the opportunity to join the Lise Watier Foundation’s Professional Development Program. Certified by Concordia University, this program helps women develop the skills they need to start their professional projects, such as autonomy, creativity, leadership, perseverance and more. Through group workshops and individual meetings with a coach, they will be able to develop their confidence, discover their future possibilities and engage their capacity for action. Starting in February, a first cohort will begin, offering participants the opportunity to develop their skills and maximize their chances of professional success.

Marie-Lise Andrade, President and CEO of the Lise Watier Foundation, speaks enthusiastically: “We are delighted to be working hand in hand with Dress for Success Montréal. This collaboration enables the Foundation to extend the reach of its action to help more women develop their entrepreneurial skills, catalyzing lasting change in their professional and personal lives.”

Sophie Katz-Milo, Executive Director of Dress for Success Montréal, agrees: “Dress for Success Montréal is celebrating 10 years TOGETHER and we are delighted to collaborate during this milestone year with the Lise Watier Foundation (LWF). Giving our clients the opportunity to participate in their exclusive Let’s Start Up Program at the Dress for Success Montréal boutique just made sense. The combined efforts between our organizations are so compelling, specifically that we share the same goal; for women to thrive in work and in life, and ultimately reach their full potential, and achieve economic independence.”

This innovative partnership marks an important step in promoting the financial independence of women Montreal. The Lise Watier Foundation and Dress for Success Montréal look forward to seeing the positive results of this collaboration, paving the way for a brighter future for women seeking economic independence and career success.
